"I’ve been with State Farm since I’ve been in high school and although the team is great the claims departments and policies suck , I’ve had multiple claims under my insurance that I was not at fault for and the claims state that I was not at fault for any of the accidents on file but my policies aren’t being renewed because of others mistakes? I’m being dropped for being the victim in the situation which I don’t think is fair , dropping Someone with less than 6 months notice for mistakes that were out of my control is not good customer service especially when I was not at fault hopefully they can’t take this information and implement better policies"

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with the State Farm Chucks office and feel others should be aware.

Since a new secretary, Thelma, took over, communication has been nothing like it was previously. The former secretary was fantastic — she consistently kept us informed, notified us when payments were coming due or behind, and worked with us regarding payments. We never had issues with communication before.

We genuinely believed our policy was current and even have text message confirmation from Thelma stating that we were “all up-to-date.” Despite that, our insurance somehow lapsed without any clear notification by mail, email, or text.

During that lapse, I was involved in a serious accident that completely totaled my vehicle. Even with proof of the text messages and lack of proper correspondence regarding cancellation or lapse, State Farm refused to cover the loss. We are now left paying thousands of dollars out of pocket.

I also spoke with Chuck Hall, who stated there was nothing he could do to help resolve the situation.

This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and upsetting. I strongly encourage others to stay extremely vigilant about their policy status and not rely solely on verbal or text confirmations."

"It is disappointing to have heard of a company taking hard earned money from a local small family run business. You and your family pride yourselves on assisting people when in reality you blame the customer when the customer is always right. It is unethical to take money that was not legally yours. An overpayment of a claim should naturally be retuned to customer since it is their hard earned dollar. This can be taken to a higher standard of customer service and return the overpayment or the better business bureau and corporate will be contacted. Word of mouth is still the best way to earn business. I would definitely return what is not yours to correct the situation your company had an “ oversight of.” The choice is yours as always but as stated people will read this and wonder if the situation was rectified. I hope this can be… peacefully or by corporate. We shall be in touch.
